Big Brother Direct was created by Sam Vaughan and launched on Monday 9th July 2007 at 6pm (Day 41 of Big Brother 8). However the site has been around since Wednesday 20th June, when the site was bought and the holding page was published

Big Brother Direct was always something that Sam wanted to do after many years of reporting for another Big Brother fan site. After finally thinking of a name for the site the domain name was bought and the creation of the site began.

Big Brother Direct is based in a small part of South Wales, Bridgend. (Not far from Big Brother 2 star Helen and Big Brother 8 star's Laura and Shanessa! In fact Shanessa said on her first day that she knew Bridgend very well)

Big Brother Direct aims to bring you the latest news from the Big Brother house. We aim to bring you the latest news before anybody else. We also try to bring you exclusive news regarding events either in the house or outside the house which will effect the house.

The first series that Big Brother Direct covered was Big Brother 8, where we become well established in the Big Brother community. We closed our Big Brother 8 site sometime around November, allowing visitors to look back on past news.

When Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack was announced to the press we started to create our Hijack site. Big Brother Direct then returned in December 2007 for the E4 spin-off show Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack, with a new look, Big Brother Direct: Hijacked. The return of Big Brother Direct in December saw the site teaming up with CD-Wow.com for the first half of the Hijack series. The sponsorship enables Big Brother Direct to being many competitions throughout the period of Celebrity Hijack.

Big Brother Direct 2008 then launched on May 16th ahead of the Big Brother 9 launch on June 5th. During the launch day we were Direct at Borehamwood which proved popular with our audience, we then returned from Elstree for the first eviction of the series.

Big Brother Direct has managed to secure many exclusive competition prizes. During Celebrity Hijack we gave away 5 chart topping CD's and a chocolate fountain.

During Big Brother 9, we managed to secure exclusive eviction tickets to a live eviction at Big Brother

Exclusives
Big Brother Direct aims to bringing you news before anybody else. We try our very best to get exclusives as well! During the Hijack series we once again found our place in the Big Brother fan sites, becoming one of the most visited fan sites around. We was also become the number one place for Exclusives and the number one place to find out who was Hijacking the house. This was because we brought you the new hijackers before anybody else.
